The Korean Institute of Architects (KIA) is pleased to announce the Shelter for Soul campaign and Shelter for Soul International Design & Installation Competition. The main goal of this competition is to provide an opportunity for the public and students to understand the situation of the less-cared individual in our societies and to interact with those who are concerned with people desperately seeking a ‘shelter’ for oneself.
The northern main road of the site is well connected with the commercial spine of southern Dhanmondi area. The north-south direction roads which are connecting with the northern main road draw a significant traffic as well as pedestrian. The festival & the cultural herb of Dhanmondi lake area is adjacent to the site pushes for creating an urban point which may strengthen the existing cultural flavor.
Varendra University is a coeducational private university in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. It obtained approval from the Ministry of Education on March 14, 2012 and from the University Grants Commission on March 20, 2012, under the Private University Act of 1992 and was the first UGC approved private university in Rajshahi.
